Welcome! The following will provide you brief information about the Music Ministry programs, including Choirs of FPC, the First Presbyterian Church Music Series and the National Organ Competition. Should you have any questions, feel free to call our Music Staff or send us an e-mail message.

The Choirs of First Presbyterian Church

The Ministry of Music offers many opportunities, including: 

Chancel Choir (adults)
Kirk Ringers (adults)
Westminster Choir (youth 7th to 12th grades)
Westminster Handbells (youth 7th to 12th grades)
Calvin Choir & Handbells (5th & 6th grades)
Crusader Choir (2nd - 4th grades) 
King David Choir (K - 1st grades)

 Our youth and children's choirs meet on Wednesday evenings and our adult choirs on Thursdays.  Worship participation is scheduled on a regular basis.  An annual music ministry calendar is printed each September and includes rehearsals, performances and special music events for your information.  In the event that information is updated, all music ministry participants will be contacted. 

While we encourage everyone to commit to these programs on a semester basis, you are welcome anytime during the year.  If you are interested in participating, please contact the Music Ministry Staff at 426-7421. 

The First Presbyterian Church Music Series

Welcome to our current season.   We are delighted to present to you this exciting series of concerts. These programs feature artists of international, regional and local fame.  We invite you to join us as we work to continue the tradition of sharing the gift of music with this community.

The FPC Music Series is made possible in part through the Gould-Jurgensen and the Venderley Memorial Funds and through grants and/or in-kind services from various corporations such as First Presbyterian Church and Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne.  However, this series would not be possible if it were not for the very generous contributions we have received from patrons each season.  Therefore, we encourage you to make a your contribution today.  Your gift will help to bring first-rate musicians to this community free of admission, to produce these concerts for public radio broadcast, to advertise, and much more.  Please be as generous as you can knowing we cannot do this without you.  Send your donations to:  First Presbyterian Church Music Series, 300 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802.
