Ms Chang was born in Seoul, South Korea and received her bachelor's degree in organ performance from Ewha Woman's University. She moved to the United States in 2006 to continue her education at Indiana University where she earned a Master of Music and Performance Diploma under the guidance of Dr. Christopher Young.
