We welcome with joy these new members:&amp;nbsp;Jacob Carlson, Makayla Ceresa, Katie Ducker, Emma Mather&#45;Grimes, Kelsey Smith, Casey Stanley, Joe Thornson, and Matt Thornson.&amp;nbsp; For the past several months, they have worked hard, exploring the Christian faith, asking tough questions, memorizing Scripture verses, engaging in service and composing a statement of faith in their own unique voice.&amp;nbsp;

		<description>Buyers were waiting at the doors Friday morning as the first&amp;nbsp;charity garage sale opened in McKay Hall.&amp;nbsp;Organizers were thrilled with the dispersal of&amp;nbsp;church items&amp;nbsp;tucked away for years including furniture, light fixtures, books, tools and more.&amp;nbsp; Additionally, Individual members&amp;nbsp;rented tables and were selling their own items.&amp;nbsp;Proceeds of close to $5,000 will go mission projects including our Day School and Everyone A Neighbor Day.&amp;nbsp;A bake sale included cookies and cakes and the concession stand featured coffee, donuts, and popcorn.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Pictures of the event can be found in the website Photo Gallery under the Media and Resources tab.</description>

		<description>The winner of the First Presbyterian National Organ Playing Competition, Yoomi Chang, performs at 4:00pm, Sunday, April 29,&amp;nbsp;in the Sanctuary. A reception will follow in the church narthex. A freewill offering will be taken.

	Ms Chang was born in Seoul, South Korea and received her bachelor&#39;s degree in organ performance from Ewha Woman&#39;s University. She moved to the United States in 2006 to continue her education at Indiana University where she earned a Master of Music and Performance Diploma under the guidance of Dr. Christopher Young. She is currently studying for her doctorate with Dr. James Higdon at the University of Kansas.
