Faith Weavers Curriculum

This year, all of the children and youth Sunday School classes and one adult class, Java and Faith, are following a common curriculum called Faith Weaver. This curriculum is designed to take the classes through the entire Bible in three years and arranged so that each week all ages are studying the same Bible story, but at their own levels of understanding. The hope is that parents, and/or grandparents, will take time, during the week, to discuss what has been covered in class with their children.

During January and February we will be focusing on the New Testament. The following topics will be covered in January and we are providing the Scripture references here so you can read ahead if you wish:

• January 8     Mark 1:4-11, John Baptizes Jesus
• January 15  John 1:43-51, Jesus Surprises Nathaniel
• January 22  Mark 1:14-20, Disciples Follow Jesus
• January 29  Mark 1:21-28, Jesus Demonstrates His Authority
