Arianne Braithwaite Lehn began her ministry at First Presbyterian in February 2012. As a native of Sioux Falls, SD, Arianne attended Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where she majored in English Literature and Biblical/Theological Studies. Following graduation, Arianne lived in Taipei, Taiwan where she taught Bible studies and English classes at her home church’s sister congregation, Tai-An Presbyterian Church.
Arianne’s time in Taiwan significantly shaped her sense of call to ministry. Shortly thereafter, she obtained a Masters of Divinity studies at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
Arianne is particularly passionate about relationship-building, cross-cultural ministry, storytelling, and mission. Her call is “to help the world know how big God’s arms are.” Alongside her ministry at First Presbyterian, Arianne is also a freelance author for various devotional publications. Among her favorite things to do is lacing up a pair of running shoes and hitting the Rivergreenway bike path.
Arianne’s husband, Jeff, is the Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church, Fort Wayne, and they give God deep thanks for the blessing of serving together.
